Can I get my loan statement?

You can get your loan statement through our head office or any of our branches countrywide. This statement is at a fee of KES 500 per account paid to the company bank account or Fin Kenya Pay bill number and issued on 15th of every month.

Can I get my loan clearance?

You can get your loan clearance once you provide your proof of payment through our head office or any of our branches countrywide.

Can I get a refund?

You can get your refund after filling in a refund form from our head office or any of our branches countrywide. The refund takes 15 days to be disbursed to your account.

Who qualifies for a loan with Fin Kenya?

• Government Payroll Loans - All civil servants and county government employees.
• Vehicle Logbook Loans - Vehicle owners in employment or vehicle owners running their own businesses.
• Salary Advance Loans - Formally employed individuals in private companies
• Invoice Discounting - A business owner with a registered business or stable employment
•Import Duty Finance - A business owner with a registered business or stable employment
•Insurane Premium Finance - A car owner or business owner with stable employment or a registered business
•Asset Finance - A business owner or employed individual with a stable income, a proforma invoice for the desired asset

How do I apply for a loan? (Requirements – visit the website for all products)

Is one in aposition to clear their loan before the term ends?

Yes, you can settle the loanbefore the term ends

What is the term for borrowing a loan?

• Government Payroll Loans- the borrowing termranges from 3 month to a maximum of  96months.
• Vehicle Logbook Loans- The borrowing term ranges from 1 month to 24 months.
• Asset Finance Loans- The borrowing term ranges from 1 month to 24 months.
• Salary Advance Loans- the loan is payable in 1 month.
• Insurance PremiumFinance - The borrowing term ranges from 1 month to 10 months
• Invoice Discounting -The borrowing term ranges from 1 month to 3 months
• Import Duty Financing -The borrowing term ranges from 1 month to 12 months

How much can I qualify/borrow from Fin Kenya?

• Government Payroll Loans- You can get a loan amount of KES 10,000 up to KES 1.5Million  depending on your payslip affordability.
• Vehicle Logbook Loans- You can get a loan amount of KES 100,000 up to KES 5 Million    depending on your Mpesa/bank statement cash-in flows.
• Asset Finance Loans- You can get a loan amount of KES 100,000 up to KES 2 Million    depending on your Mpesa/bank statement cash-in flows.
• Salary Advance Loans- You can get a loan amount of KES 5,000 up to KES 250,000    depending on your payslip affordability.
• Insurance Premium Finance - You can get a loan amount of KES 100,000 up to KES 1 Million depending on your Mpesa/bank statement cash-inflows.
• Invoice Discounting - You can get a loan amount of KES 100,000 up to KES 2 Million depending on your invoices or receipts, Mpesa/bank statementcash-in flows.
• Import Duty Financing - You can get a loan amount of KES 100,000 up to KES 1 Million depending on your receipts or invoices, Mpesa/bankstatement cash-in flows.

What is the maximum amount of loan that can be borrowed?

For Check-Off and VLB loans one can borrow up to KES .1.5 Million and KES 5 Million respectively.

How long does it take for me to have money disbursed to me?

Payments are made either through Mpesa/ EFT/ RTGS. The transaction period is dependent on the loan you have taken from 2-48 hours.

Can I qualify for a top up loan?

Yes, Fin Kenya offers a top up on the current loan after receipt of at least one installment.

Do you Offset loans from other institutions?

Yes, we do.

Is one in a position to clear their loan before the term ends?

Yes, you can settle the loan at any given time end month.

Is interest on a reducing balance?

This is dependent on the product one takes.

Can I re-pay my loan by monthly payments by paying directly from my bank account?

Repayment of the loan is made through direct deduction by employer and/ or the Company Mpesa Paybill.

Do you give loans to anyone listed on CRB?

We give loans to any valid client listed or not listed on CRB, so long as he/she has a valid payslip with ability to accommodate the deduction or has sufficient cash inflows, and a vehicle that meets the pre-approved amount for the loan applied for.

What is your turn around time?

This is dependent on the type of loan one has taken and if they have complied with the requirements guide upon submission. Salary Advance loans are paid within 2 hrs, Check-off loans are paid within 24hrs,  and Log Book loans within 48 hrs.
